Optimal flow geometry for a more stable process
The DV-P features optimal flow geometry with near linear flow characteristics, which guarantees a more stable process. This optimized design provides double the flow rate of conventional weir-type diaphragm valves but uses the same amount of energy to achieve >100% increase in flow.
The new weir design provides a reduced pressure drop, lower turbulence and more linear flow characteristics, which makes the process more stable.
For a new system , one can choose smaller pumps, valves and pipes, and still get the same performance, saving money both on the installation and energy costs.
Secure operation with lockable handle
The new valve offers an integrated standard lock that prevents unintentional activation.
The locked and unlocked position is identifiable by clearly defined points giving production security from unwanted inactivation.
Safe and easy to service
Instead of the commonly used four screws the DV-P has a central union nut – this connection is characterized by uniform surface pressure.
The central union nut ensures less wear and a longer diaphragm lifetime. The inconvenience that is experienced with re-tightening of the four screws in the standard valves are no longer necessary, which lowers operating costs and make the DV-P easy to service.
